Accommodation Types

University Town

1. At UTown Residential Colleges, we offer single rooms (corridor) or single rooms within a 6-bedroom apartment.
2. At UTown Residence, we offer single rooms in a 4-bedroom apartment, as well as studio apartments for graduate or married students.

Prince George’s Park

1. At Houses @ PGP, we offer single rooms for undergraduates.
2. At PGP Residence, we have single rooms as well as studio apartments for graduate or married students.

Ridge View Residential College

1. At RVRC, we offer single or double rooms for undergraduates.

Halls of Residence

1. At Eusoff, Temasek, Raffles and King Edward VII Hall, we offer single or double rooms.
2. At Kent Ridge Hall and Sheares Hall, only single rooms are offered.

An onsite management office is located at each hostel, managed by a team of dedicated NUS Housing Services staff. This office serves as a central point for managing facilities and providing assistance related to housing matters during office hours.

At NUS, our student community is vibrant and diverse, with individuals in their early twenties hailing from various racial backgrounds. Our housing options attract both local and international students, fostering a dynamic and inclusive living environment.

Prince George’s Park Residence (PGPR) and Houses @ PGP

The Prince George’s Park Residence (PGPR) and Houses @ PGP is located on the eastern end of the Kent Ridge Campus and is within close proximity to Science Park and Kent Ridge MRT Station.

With 3000 local and international students living here, PGPR and Houses @ PGP embraces global community living and racial harmony.

Catering to undergraduates as well as graduates, PGP and Houses @ PGP is designed to maximize the potential for interaction amongst its residents. The single rooms are grouped into clusters of 15, and every resident in the cluster is entrusted with collective responsibility for shared facilities such as a kitchen, dining area, and bathroom facilities.

University Town (UTown) proudly houses three distinctive residential colleges: Tembusu College, College of Alice & Peter Tan, and Residential College 4, along with the newly established NUS College (Cinnamon Wing).

These residential colleges offer a unique multi-disciplinary academic curriculum within a vibrant living-learning environment. Each college is equipped with a range of facilities including theme rooms, multipurpose halls, dining halls, student lounges, and common lounges. These amenities are meticulously designed to foster a supportive and friendly atmosphere, nurturing spirited communities through social, educational, and cultural interactions.

b) UTown Residence

UTown Residence, also known as UTR, is located in the heart of NUS University Town. It is the first of its kind in Singapore’s higher learning landscape where both undergraduate and graduate students live and learn in close proximity. The design of the residence emphasizes open common areas, and the architecture fosters a sense of community and cross-disciplinary discussion. UTR oversees the large Town Green, which is a big green space for students to gather, play sports or even have a picnic. UTR consists of the North and South Tower, which can house up to 1,700 residents.

Studio Apartments

(Air-conditioned / Non-Air conditioned with en suite)

In addition to the 4-Bedroom apartment, UTown Residences has studio apartments for married and graduate students. The UTown studio apartments are designed to include a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room and a separate bedroom. The living room consists of a sofa, book shelves, TV console and a dining table. The bedroom has a ceiling fan, a queen size bed, a writing desk and a wardrobe.

Ridge View Residential College (RVRC)

Ridge View Residential College boasts an exceptional vantage point, offering panoramic views of the campus and its surrounding areas. Situated in close proximity to key university amenities such as the University Health Centre, the University’s Sports and Recreation Centre, and Yusof Ishak House, residents enjoy unparalleled convenience and easy access to a wide range of sports and recreational facilities.

RVRC Room Types

Single Rooms, Common Corridor

(Non-Air conditioned)

A single-person living space furnished with a single bed, a ceiling fan, a writing desk and chair, a bookshelf, a wardrobe and a mobile pedestal. Shower and toilet facilities as well as kitchenettes are located along the common corridors. Kitchenettes are equipped with stoves and other kitchen utensils where residents can cook their own meals instead of eating out.

Double Rooms, Common Corridor

(Non-Air conditioned)

A duo-person living space furnished with 2 single beds with shelves, a ceiling fan, writing desks and chairs, two wardrobes and mobile pedestals. Shower and toilet facilities as well as kitchenettes are located along the common corridors. Kitchenettes are equipped with stoves and other kitchen utensils where residents can cook their own meals instead of eating out.

There are over 6 bus services within a short walking distance. From here you can get anywhere you need to go, and fast.
