Security

Campus Security is one of three sections under the Division of Campus Emergency and Security.

The goals of Campus Security are to protect the people and the university’s properties, prevent crimes, and respond promptly to security incidents. Campus Security accomplishes these by adopting the security principles of deterrence, detection, denial, delaying and responding.

Community partnerships are effective in preventing security incidents. Campus Security collaborates extensively with multiple stakeholders in the university, local government agencies and neighbouring organisations to create a more secured environment.

The safety, health and professionalism of Campus Security members are fundamental to our success. As such, we pursue programmes to enhance our well-being and operational performances.
