International Drug Victims Remembrance Day

On 16 May 2025, a staff representative from University Campus Infrastructure (UCI)’s Campus Emergency and Security Division and two representatives from the National University of Singapore Students’ Union (NUSSU) attended the Drug Victims Remembrance Day 2025 event, graced by Guest of Honour Mr. K Shanmugam, Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Law.

This occasion was an important reminder that the impact of drug abuse extends beyond the individual, deeply affecting families, friends, and society at large. It also highlighted the importance of standing together as a community to commit to a drug-free future.

At UCI, we are dedicated to supporting a safe and well campus for the NUS community. As part of the islandwide efforts to raise awareness, exhibitions for Drug Victims Remembrance Day have been set up across Singapore, including at the NUS Education Resource Centre (ERC), and will run until 31 May 2025. We encourage all to drop by, learn more, and show your support for this important cause.
