In conjunction with the upcoming launch of our three-door electric Internal Shuttle Buses, we would like to give you an opportunity to design a special wrap for our very own ISB. Submit a design highlighting how the new fleet of electric buses will transform campus mobility and stand to win a grand prize: the latest Samsung Galaxy S22 5G! Two consolation prizes of $100 UNIQGIFT eVouchers (redeemable at various merchants) each will also be given out.

Instructions

1. Download the template at this link: com/eISBdesigntemplate
2. Design a wrap for the electric ISB! The design should stand out from the rest of the NUS fleet of blue and orange buses.
3. Submit your file to the Campus Services team!

Submission

• Please email the design file as an attachment to csenquiry@nus.edu.sg (OneDrive link is also acceptable as long as it can be downloaded), by 12 September 2022, 2359 hrs.
• Please email us with “Design A Bus Wrap Competition Submission” as the subject.
• If using graphic design software, please save as an AI (Adobe Illustrator) or EPS file and convert all fonts to outlines.

Judging Criteria

• Does your design feature elements on both sides and the rear of the bus?
• Does your design feature the slogan “Transforming Campus Mobility Through Electrification” prominently on at least one side of the bus?
• Does your design give the bus a bold, futuristic appearance?
• Does your design highlight that the bus is electric?
• Is the overall composition balanced?
• Is your design eye-catching?
• Is your design still appropriate with the bus doors open?

Terms and Conditions

• Submissions must be received by 12 September 2022, 2359 hrs to be considered.
• Contest is only open to currently enrolled NUS students with a valid NUS email address.
• Graphic design experience or knowledge is not required to participate.
• Recommended resolution for submissions is 300dpi and above.
• As the winning artist’s name will be featured on the side of the vehicle, please do not include your name.
• The design must include the NUS Campus Life logo (included in template) with 20% margin around (read more about NUS identity guidelines here).
• The design must be able to be applied to the bus body using vinyl wrap only.
• The design must cover no more than 25 per cent of the windows on the side of the bus.
• The design must not include any offensive or obscene elements.
• The design must not use any copyrighted material.
• By submitting and participating in this competition, the contestant agrees for NUS to duplicate, print and use the design for non-commercial, Internal Shuttle Bus-related materials and purposes. NUS shall not be liable to pay or compensate the contestant for the use of the submitted design, other than through the prize offered (Samsung Galaxy S22 5G 128GB, or $100 UNIQGIFT eVouchers).
• NUS reserves the right to make adjustments to the wrap design for the purpose of fitting it onto the ISB.
