Mobility Services

The Mobility Services Unit oversees the NUS Internal Shuttle Bus Services and serves as the point of contact for NUS in dealing with public transport planning authorities and operators. It also manages a fleet of vehicles and a pool of drivers to provide transportation services to NUS departments and faculties. Likewise, it also manages car parking services through a car park operator.

Other key responsibilities of the department include provision of logistics support for NUS corporate events and delivery of NUS internal mail to the various faculties and departments.

Getting To NUS

Kent Ridge Campus

  • Kent Ridge MRT Station (Circle Line)
    Transfer to ISB A1, ISB D2 or Service 95 at Bus Stop (3) outside Exit A/NUH (at Lower Kent Ridge Road).
  • Clementi MRT Station (East-West Line)
    Transfer to Service 96 at the Clementi Bus Interchange.
  • Buona Vista MRT Station (East-West Line, Circle Line)
    Transfer to Service 95 at Bus Stop (3) outside Exit D/across North Buona Vista Road, in front of the Ministry of Education building).

Getting Around NUS

We are pleased to announce that Service D1 is amended to enhance its connectivity with effect from 25 July 2022, Monday. The amended Service D1 will begin and end at the new COM3 bus stop. It will no longer stop at the COM2 bus stop to enable Service D1 to enhance its frequency at peak hours. However, services A1 and A2 will continue to stop at COM2 and there is no change to their routes.

Next Bus Mobile Application

Download the NUS Next Bus mobile application to get up-to-the minute bus schedules and be informed well ahead of the next bus’ arrival time. The application also comes with real-time visualisation of bus locations, detailed maps of the bus stop locations and the user’s current location within NUS.

Parking Information

The car parks are installed with automated parking system using Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) technology. Car park access will be via In-Vehicle Unit (IU) identification for both season & short-term users.

Red parking lots are reserved for NUS staff with season parking passes only. Other season parking pass holders or visitors are reminded that they are permitted to park their vehicles at the white lots only. (They are at risk of being wheel clamped. Wheel unclamping fee is $107 with GST).

Staff season parking car parks (the whole car park is with red lots) are reserved for NUS staff with season parking passes only. Other season parking pass holders and visitors are reminded that they are not permitted to park there.  Penalty surcharges will be imposed on non-staff season parking pass holders. NUS Carparks Mobile Application

Download the NUS Carparks application to get up-to-the-minute carparks availability information within NUS. The application also comes with detailed maps of the carparks locations and the user’s current location in NUS. What you can find in the application:

  • List of carparks in the campus with location maps as well as real time information on the number of parking lots available.
  • Searchable directory listing for users to find out the nearest carparks to a particular location.
  • Lists and sorts carparks by closest distance to the current location or a user-selected location.
  • Lists and sorts carparks by the most available lots.
  • Integration with Google Maps to display driving directions to a particular carpark.
