According to the NUS Housing Policy, all full-time international students must possess a valid ICA-issued student pass to be eligible to stay in our hostels.

To verify your stay eligibility, we request that you provide us details of your student pass immediately for our update. Please refer to the following instructions to upload the required information: 

1.Capture an image of your valid Student Pass. Please refer to the sample below. 

2.Enter the UHMS Portal via this link or scan the QR code below.

3.Select “About Check-In/Out menu option” and select “Upload Supporting Document(s) for FIN Expiry Date” from the drop-down menu.

4.Upload documents as required.

We wish to highlight that an In-Principle Authority (IPA) Letter is NOT a valid supporting document that constitutes a legal extension of your stay in Singapore. In the absence of a valid student pass, you may face expulsion from the University and action by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA), as this would contravene the prevailing local laws.

If you face any challenges in submission, you may proceed to the Hostel Management Office with your student pass for submission.
