Facilities Booking — UTown (Non-Residential) Facilities

Amenities in University Town (UTown®) are open to all NUS students and staff.

Meeting Rooms

Small meeting rooms for project discussions are available at the Mac Commons and PC Commons located on level 1 of the Education Resource Centre (ERC). Walk-ins are allowed, but priority is given to users who have made a booking.

Click here* to book the meeting rooms. Users can make bookings of up to two hours a day and a maximum of six times a week (minimum 1 hour per booking). Please ensure your booking is made 3 days in advance; advance booking is allowed up to 7 days. Do also keep in mind that recurring bookings on the same day with less than an hour gap will be rejected.

Individual bookings are for self-practices or activities involving NUS staff / students. We do not allow users to bring in external guests/visitors.

Performing Arts Spaces

Practice rooms and studios are available at the Stephen Riady Centre for activities ranging from dance and drama practices to judo and yoga. Bookings of performing arts spaces are to be made 3 days in advance. Advance booking is allowed up to 7 days, and students / staff can book up to two hours a day and a maximum of 3 times a week. Teaching Facilities

Most of the teaching facilities in UTown® are accessible from 7 am to 7 pm on weekdays during term time to facilitate classes. NUS student organisations registered with the Office of Student Affairs (OSA)/ Centre for the Arts (CFA) can book the teaching facilities with endorsement from the respective OSA’s staff adviser with this form. NUS departments/ offices can also book the teaching facilities with the form. Charges are applicable for the booking of facilities.

Events

For booking of facilities and / or spaces for events by NUS entities (student organisations, departments, offices), kindly write to us at utown@nus.edu.sg for rental rates and booking procedures. Requests should be notified in advance as the booking form has to be submitted at least one month before event setup begins. External parties interested in booking UTown® facilities and / or spaces may approach the Conferences & Events Management Unit here.

For off-campus access, please do the following:

Step 1 : Connect to NUS VPN first via
a) WebVPN, or
b) for Mac & Windows 10 users, please see respective NUS VPN Configuration Guide and Installer for setup instructions
Step 2 : Go to Facility Booking System to do your booking.
