Booking of Standard Space for Publicity Materials

1) The activities and publicities should not:

  • Compromise the safety, health, environment and security of the University Community; and
  • Cause annoyance, distress or disturbance to members of the University Community. 

 

2) It is the joint responsibility of the organisers and its appointed contractors to ensure that they comply with the terms and conditions of usage of display of publicity materials on NUS campus.

3) Organisers are responsible for their own behaviour and actions. They shall comply with and satisfy all the requirements relevant or applicable to under all laws and regulations, standards, by-laws and codes of practice or conduct relevant or applicable to the event.

Mail Despatch Schedule (Internal Mail)

The Internal Mail System comprises collection of mail for internal mailing within Kent Ridge Campus, University Town and Bukit Timah Campus and mail to be posted.

There is Internal Mail Dispatch Service dispatch and collection times on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays (except Public Holidays).

To avoid lost mail, departments are encouraged to:

  1. Ensure all mail are properly addressed (Name, Designation, Department, Building)
  2. Redirect undelivered mail should be referred back to the Mailroom at University Hall          instead of departments and faculties returning the mail to the Post Office.
  3. Post mail correctly into the right slots, i.e. for internal mail and external mail separately.
  4. Synchronize department mail collection times with the internal mail collection time.
Mail Despatch Schedule (External Mail - SingPost)

Mail to Outram Campus and other off-campus sites have to be done via external mail.

  1. Incoming External Mail 
    • SingPost will drop off incoming external mail to the designated letter boxes based on departments and faculties using the proper 6-digit postal codes.
  2. Local Urgent Mail (LUM) and Courier Service
    • All LUM and Courier Service are delivered direct to the faculties and departments concerned.
    • All other LUM and Courier Service obscurely addressed will be delivered to the Mailroom at University Hall.
    • ampus Life (Campus Services) would then inform the departments via telephone to send their staff to collect them. If they are unable to do so, the mail will be despatched via the next earliest despatch under the internal mail system.
