Emergency Preparedness and Management Section advocates and promotes awareness about personal safety and security. Through its Resilience and Preparedness programmes and initiatives, it empowers the community with knowledge and tools, enabling them to plan and organise activities and events safely. It also responds promptly to emergencies and crises through the Crisis Emergency Management framework. The Section also readies the university to effectively respond to and handle emergencies and crises, including major incidents and accidents, security threats, terrorism acts, widespread diseases, and pandemic situations.
